One night in 2015 I was walking 5 miles home from my work on injured legs. I was exhausted and in pain so I stuck my thumb out to try to get a ride. A PTC Police Officer stopped and gave me a ride home. This left a lasting impression. Thanks guys and gals, and stay safe!

This is not Brandon but his dad. Unclear why it thinks I am him. My name is Greg Bambic and I have lived here since '98. I have had several tickets given to me I have deserved. Overall, I believe they keep the city and its citizens safe. We have one or two motorcycle cops, cart path cops, and others I have not met or seen doing a thankless job that they are underpaid, underappreciated and hopefully bored silly with. I cannot talk to departmental policies but expect like any force there are a few knuckleheads that look at skin color, hair style or other factors before looking at the individual. I would say if you intend to do bad here, be prepared for the outcome as bored cops get really excited when dumb people do bad things?! ;0)
These police have have nothing better to do than harassing people for very minor offenses like not stopping long enough at a stop sign . I wish they would go be real men and go fight real crime in Atlanta like my mom does. Other than just being good for taking citizens money!
